Finding the Diamond in the Rough

Everyone dreams of finding the diamond in the rough. The deeper pockets you have, the better domains you can buy. However, having the cash to purchase a high quality domain name isn’t the only key to creating domain value. Playing it smarter also helps a great deal.

One Word Dictionary

Singular, one word dictionary domains are the hardest to find but not impossible. Look on Google for word lists and bulk search them at a register. You may be surprised what you can pick up. Don't forget to check the plural and other meaningful versions of the word. Also, consider alternative extensions to .com.

Keep Up With the Trends

When you follow trends, you are following what people are looking for. A great place to keep up with tech trends is Google Trends. For all other trends, keep up with news, rumors, etc. You can also use Google Alerts to deliver specific keywords to your inbox.

Developing Your Domains

You can use domain development to increase the value of your domain. Some specific ways to develop a domain are for: lead generation, affiliate revenue, content creation, social focus and more.

Going Against the Grain

Bruce Marler knows better than anyone what happens when you go against the grain. He created his Missouri.me network which is now widely recognized in many Missouri communities, has an office suite with employees all in which he accomplished in less than a year. Go, Bruce!
